She has a knack for
selecting graphics. Her pictures get
across exactly the point she wants to make.
For example, the cartoons of what courtrooms would look like with female
jurors, highlights her point about how men viewed women at the time. Just about every graphic is perfectly chosen and placed. I'd like to take a course from her on how to find just the right graphic--the research must have taken a lot of time.

ReplyDeleteI totally agree here. Being a fellow a teacher we both know how important it is to find a powerful visual to supplement our lesson. I know it always helps me understand the material better!
The only one I may disagree with is her description of the Norman Rockwell painting. It doesn't look to me like the single woman in the jury is being intimidated into changing her mind.
